Athena Care Homes – Goodwins Hall Care Home in King's Lynn is seeking a motivated Team Leader to guide and support our care team, ensuring high standards of person-centred care for residents. You will oversee daily care delivery, supervise staff, conduct appraisals, and participate in enhanced clinical duties.

The role offers 45 hours per week on a 12-hour rotating shift, with a starting rate of £13.61 per hour and a comprehensive induction.

As a Team Leader at Goodwins Hall Care Home, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting our care team who are passionate about delivering making moments for our residents and delivering high quality care.

About Goodwins Hall Care Home

Nestled in a quiet area at the bottom of Goodwins Road, our 76-bedroom care home is known for its beautiful fountain centrepiece at the entrance.

About The Role

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key part with care delivery in the home. Our Team Leader supports us to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home.

Development from this role can take you onto CHAPS or nursing positions, and we offer fully funded apprenticeships to help you achieve an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Salary

£13.61 per hour.

Shift Pattern

45 hours per week, 12-hour shifts worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• To be central to our care. Providing leadership and direction to the care team whilst on duty.
• Assist, motivate and inspire passion into our care team to deliver exceptional outcomes in care.
• Manage supervision, appraisal and performance management of our care team. Celebrating every individual and helping our team to achieve their potential.
• To carry out enhanced clinical care duties; clinical observations of blood pressure, pule, respiration rate, temperature and blood oxygenation level and monitor urine output.

Training, Skills & Experience Required

• A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
• Experience in a similar senior care position.
• You must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proven track record for leading, empowering, supporting & motivating a team.
