WWL 0-19 Universal Children's Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity for a SCPHN qualified Health Visitor or School Nurse with substantial post-qualification experience to join our leadership team and support operational and clinical leadership. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, organized, and dedicated public health nurse to help lead our 0-19 integrated teams in delivering high-quality services to families, children, and young people in our care.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other team leaders and partner agencies to lead and implement new processes and pathways, fostering innovation and supporting children and families in new ways. Our team leaders are currently piloting co-production working; this role will involve working across the operational and clinical leadership teams.
This is a full-time position - 37.5 hours per week, working flexibly from Monday to Friday.
An Enhanced DBS check, including Children's and Adults' Barred List checks, will be obtained during pre-employment screening.

The applicant should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work effectively and autonomously. They will need to motivate, educate, and promote the team across the integrated skill mix 0-19 team in Wigan, as well as collaborate with wider stakeholders, children, parents, and carers.
As a Team Leader with operational and/or clinical responsibilities, you will support the Healthy Child Programme and the senior management team.
