Job summary

Thornbury Community Services in Wrexham is hiring a Team Leader to manage a caring staff team within our supported living service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary of £33,033 per annum, with 3-4 x 12-hour shifts weekly. You’ll lead on shift, rota planning, staff development and ensure adherence to care plans and safety standards in line with our values.

• Health & Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the staff team on shift, providing clear direction, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently.
• Manage rota planning and staffing levels, allocating 121 support hours, and ensuring shifts are safely covered with appropriately trained team members.
• Support staff development and performance, including competency oversight, supervision support, promoting best practice, and fostering a positive, professional team culture.
• Oversee daily operational standards, ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed, documentation is accurate, and all tasks, safety checks and quality requirements are completed to a high standard.
