  • Support young people to build confidence, independence and workplace readiness, helping them progress towards sustainable employment.
  • Work closely with employers, partners and internal teams to secure employment opportunities and achieve successful job matches.
  • Drive sustained employment outcomes through effective in-work support and early intervention where challenges arise.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance, ensuring participant records, evidence and management information are accurate and up to date.
  • Promote safeguarding and participant welfare, ensuring concerns are identified, managed and escalated appropriately.
  • Champion continuous improvement through coaching, feedback and development to enhance team performance and capability.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and support the Business Manager in delivering programme objectives and operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Previous leadership or management experience, including coaching colleagues and managing performance.
  • Experience working in a target-driven environment and delivering services against quality and contractual standards.
  • Strong knowledge of the local labour market and employment opportunities within the region.
  • Confident user of Microsoft 365 and digital systems, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and CRM/case management systems.
  • Experience managing caseload-based delivery and using performance data to improve outcomes.
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and the ability to identify, manage and escalation risk appropriately.
  • Strong coaching and people development skills with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Flexibility to travel across the geographical area as required by the role.
Desirable
  • Ability to coach and develop colleagues supporting young people and individuals facing barriers to employment.
  • Experience or knowledge of employability, careers guidance, welfare-to-work, youth services, or related programmes.
