Job summary

Voyage Care are seeking a Team Leader for the Summerfield Court ABI service in Bramley, Leeds. You will lead a dynamic team, supervise staff, and help individuals gaining independence, under the guidance of the service manager.

You will allocate shifts, train staff, and ensure high-quality care. The role requires previous leadership experience in a similar setting and knowledge of working with individuals with acquired brain injury.

Responsibilities

• Allocate shifts and book training for colleagues.
• Induct new staff and conduct supervision and appraisals.
• Develop and update care plans for people we support.
• Order medication and assist with finances for those supported.
• Manage day-to-day service operations in the absence of the manager.

Team Leader - Bramley, Leeds - £14.52 per hour

We're currently searching for a fantastic Team Leader to join us in leading our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service - Summerfield Court in Bramley, Leeds. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Team Leader with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, conducting supervision's and appraisals, developing and updating care plans, ordering medication, ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances and day-to-day management of the service in the absence of the manager. You'll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Team Leaders are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We're interested in our Team Leader having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Team Leader should have previous experience in a similar role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with an acquired brain injury.
