Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Northampton seeks a Team Leader for the Northampton DC7 operation. This full-time, permanent role supports a busy shared-user warehouse, leading operational teams to meet productivity, quality and customer targets across 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 shifts.

You will allocate labour, coach teams, monitor performance, and use WMS and reporting to drive continuous improvement and safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar role within a warehousing, logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage colleagues across a fast-paced operation.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems and operational performance data.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to changing business requirements.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Here at GXO, we're recruiting for Team Leaders to join our operation at Northampton DC7. Working within a busy shared-user warehouse, you'll play a key role in leading operational teams, supporting daily activities and ensuring performance targets and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working any 5 from 7, with opportunities available across both 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00 shifts.

Pay, benefits and more:

We're offering a rate of £13.97 per hour, plus a £1 per hour shift allowance for hours worked after 18:00 on the late shift. Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts
