Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Team Leader in Bideford to oversee night operations and run the department with the team. You’ll lead by example, support colleagues, manage stock, assist new starters, and resolve issues to keep customer service high.

You’ll work with the night team, ensuring standards, maintaining schedules, and motivating staff to meet targets. Flexibility for weekends/evenings and a customer‑facing role are essential.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading the night-to-night running of your department. You’ll lead by example—supporting your colleagues, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it’s helping to manage stock, supporting new starters, or stepping in to solve a problem, you’ll be a go‑to person on the shop floor. You’ll work closely with your manager to deliver high standards and keep your team motivated and focused.
