About the Role
Team Leader is responsible for leading the delivery of the recruitment team in the EMEA Direct Sourcing hub. Working closely with the Delivery Manager, Delivery Director and Robert Walters Client Partners, you will lead a high performing team, ensuring they work effectively and provide a best in class service to our clients and candidates.
Responsibilities
- Team Management – Coach and develop the team of Recruiters and Associates, encourage focus on delivery and results, and ensure processes are understood and followed.
- Allocate workload evenly across the team to ensure adequate coverage for holiday and sickness.
- Work with operational account teams to drive direct delivery, provide regular status updates, share market insights, anticipate upcoming recruitment projects and support requirements.
- Drive recruitment delivery to exceed defined service levels and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with the Talent Pooling Team Leader to build effective talent pools for upcoming projects.
- Lead by example with direct reports and maintain high standards for compliance and data accuracy.
- Ensure an excellent candidate and client experience through proactive and effective communication.
- Act as an ambassador for GlobalSourcing and build strong relationships with stakeholders across Robert Walters.
- Conduct governance checks in Avature and Power BI to ensure accurate reporting; provide regular reporting to the Delivery Manager.
- Prepare and present Client Delivery Reviews with the Delivery Manager.
- Review and update recruitment processes to ensure best practice, policy compliance and legislative compliance.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for HR / recruitment issues.
- Perform other duties as required.
Operational Task
- Allocate roles to Direct Recruiters within agreed service level (SAL).
- Assign new roles to Direct Recruiters; manage role processing in Avature.
- Daily review of Avature and Power BI to ensure open roles statuses are correct.
- Hold daily team huddles to direct recruitment strategy and ensure SLA achievement.
- Manage recruitment issues/escalations and access/slot management on LinkedIn.
- Coordinate handover to cover sickness and holidays; keep account teams and Hiring Managers updated daily.
Weekly Task
- Send weekly live job reports to onsite teams and verify live status of jobs and candidates.
- Facilitate weekly operational update calls covering live roles, candidate feedback, and upcoming projects.
- Conduct weekly live role reviews with Direct Recruiters to discuss activity, performance against targets, sourcing challenges, and capacity.
- Ensure data integrity of Avature / Client ATS through governance checks.
- Review starters and onboarding candidates and update start dates as needed.
- Review Data Integrity Dashboard for missing data and roles on hold/closed.
- Review weekly closed roles to ensure cancellation reasons are captured.
- Review agency-filled roles and ensure notes are added to the system.
- Review aging roles in Power BI and address delivery challenges with the team.
- Review CV feedback and interview feedback within 5 days and address any delays with DR and onsite teams.
Monthly Task
- Financial reporting – provide the Delivery Manager with a monthly report of all team starters verified by the onsite team and DRs.
- Conduct 1-1s with Recruiters & Associates to review progress against targets and objectives.
- Review team utilisation of sourcing tools and LinkedIn.
- Prepare and present a monthly team performance update to the Delivery Manager.
Quarterly Task
- Provide Delivery Manager with monthly and quarterly starters reports verified by the onsite team and DRs.
- Prepare and present Client Delivery Reviews together with the Delivery Manager.
Other Duties
Other duties reasonably within the capabilities of a staff member in this position may be required from time to time. Requirements may change and staff are expected to comply with reasonable changes.
