Join our team as a Team Leader in London!

Are you an experienced security professional passionate about team performance and high standards of compliance? We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Part-time Team Leader to oversee security personnel and ensure smooth operations during your shift. Embodying Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, you will serve as a key contact for service delivery, performance measurement, and reporting, strengthening client relationships.

Position Details:
  • Pay: £18.33 per hour
  • Weekly Hours: 7 am – 7 pm; Weekend only (Saturdays & Sundays)
  • Qualifications: Must have SIA License
  • Transportation: Access to a vehicle or good transport links
Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all security personnel are trained and licensed appropriately.
  • Schedule staffing effectively to cover holidays, sickness, and absences.
  • Maintain communication with security officers, monitor performance, and foster positive relations.
  • Manage appearance and behavior of security staff, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Encourage staff recognition and awards to boost morale.
  • Keep site documentation and assignment instructions up to date.
  • Report incidents according to policies.
  • Uphold Securitas core values and recognize workplace risks, prioritizing safety.
  • Develop and share best practices for service improvement.
  • Plan and implement staff training, including emergency procedures.
  • Monitor security equipment, report faults promptly.
  • Ensure proficiency in Access Control, CCTV, and Alarm Systems.
  • Serve as primary contact for security-related issues, resolving and escalating as needed.
  • Support the Site Manager and client Security Department.
Qualifications & Additional Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Five-year employment history or evidence of employment/self-employment/education during any unemployment periods.
  • Current SIA license.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive matters.
  • Adaptability and responsiveness.
  • Additional qualifications in Health & Safety, Customer Service, First Aid are advantageous.
