To ensure customers are served in a friendly and efficient manner and the staff restaurant is set up to the highest standards expected from Lexington, customers, and the client.

Operational Skills

Necessary Operational Skills:

Duties:

  1. Ensure all counters, fridges, and tables are prepared to the highest standard ready for service
  2. To ensure Licensing Laws are adhered to
  3. Ensure constant replenishment of counters and fridges throughout service
  4. Ensure food is presented in an attractive manner throughout service
  5. Ensure service temperature checks are undertaken and recorded
  6. Ensure samples of high-risk foods are taken
  7. Check cleaning schedules are followed, and chemicals used in accordance to C.O.S.H.H. regulations
  8. Assist in cashing up and the collection of statistics
  9. Ensure health and hygiene regulations are followed at all times
  10. Ensure all accidents or near accidents are reported to the unit manager and documented
  11. Ensure all equipment faults are reported immediately to the manager
  12. Ensure queues are kept to a minimum
  13. Ensure the ordering of any stock, which may be required, while keeping stock levels to a minimum
  14. Carry out any other reasonable requests of management

  2. Ensure all customers entering the staff restaurant are served in a polite, efficient, and friendly manner
  3. Resolve any conflicting staff issues
  4. Ensure all complaints and compliments are passed on to the manager immediately
  5. Liaise with the chefs and unit manager to ensure the smooth running of the whole staff restaurant area
