Job summary

Asda Grimsby is seeking a Team Leader to help run the department on nights. You’ll lead by example, support colleagues, and ensure our customers receive great service.

This full-time role is 36 hours per week, with a night shift pattern and a pay rate of £16.64 per hour. You’ll work with your manager to maintain high standards, grow the team, manage stock, welcome new starters, and solve problems on the shop floor.

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and support others.
• Good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of your department on night shifts.
• Support colleagues and help new starters settle in.
• Help manage stock and keep shelves stocked and tidy.
• Solve problems on the shop floor and escalate when needed.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading the day-to-day running of your department. You’ll lead by example—supporting your colleagues, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it’s helping to manage stock, supporting new starters, or stepping in to solve a problem, you’ll be a go-to person on the shop floor. You’ll work closely with your manager to deliver high standards and keep your team motivated and focused.
