HelloFresh in Derby is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a shift, leading operatives to meet KPIs and customer expectations while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with other departments, schedule tasks, monitor performance, and maintain production records. The role requires proven leadership in manufacturing with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or distribution centre environment.
• Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment.
• A team player who believes in creating a positive environment for their team and works closely with surrounding teams.
• Experience in an FMCG/ Food Manufacturing environment is ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of colleagues on the shift to ensure shift KPIs are met in full and on time.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement.
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Deal with day to day queries from colleagues – liaising with HR, Training Teams as required.
• Maintain up to date and accurate records on production, food safety data and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained.

About The Team

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading a team of colleagues on the shift to ensure that the shift KPIs are met in full and on time
• Fostering a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members, monitoring their performance, and providing constructive feedback
• Dealing with day to day queries from colleagues – liaising with HR, Training Teams as required
• Maintain up to date and accurate records (including computerised/digital) on production, food safety data and analyse this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement
• Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained

Who You Are

Working Schedule:

• Wednesday to Saturday, 0700 - 1900 rotating from days and nights every 3 months.
• Sunday to Wednesday, 0700 - 1900 rotating from days and nights every 3 months.
