Job summary

Bleckmann UK is recruiting for a permanent, full-time floor supervisor in our warehouse. Two shift patterns are available: Tue-Sat 16:00–00:00 or Sun–Thu 08:00–16:00, with flexibility during peak periods. The role offers up to £33,000 plus an additional shift allowance.

You will manage a designated area, plan labour and activities, ensure safe practices, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement. You will be accountable for KPI performance including productivity, accuracy and service levels,

• Leadership experience in logistics, retail, or e-commerce.
• Experience managing teams and workloads.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as JDA.
• Delivers accurate, high-quality work while driving improvement.
• Communicates respectfully and inspires team engagement.

Job description

This is a permanent, full-time position with two shift patterns available: Tuesday to Saturday, 16:00-00:00, or Sunday to Thursday, 08:00-16:00. Flexibility may be required during peak periods. The role offers a salary of up to £33,000, depending on skills and experience, plus an additional shift allowance.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for managing an assigned floor or area within the warehouse, including operational processes, people, and client relationships; proactively planning labour, equipment, and activities during the shift; and fostering a safe working culture that supports team and individual development.

Key tasks:

• Manage staff and workflow in a designated area
• Ensure safe working practices are followed
• Support team development through coaching and feedback
• Assist with performance management, disciplinary procedures, and absence management in line with company policies
• Drive continuous improvement and support ad hoc projects
• Be accountable for team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, and service levels

Profile:

• Leadership experience, preferably in logistics, retail, or e-commerce
• Experienced in managing teams
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as JDA
• Delivers accurate, high-quality work while seeking continuous improvement
• Communicates respectfully and inspires team engagement
• Automation experience highly desirable
