The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy third-party logistics (3PL) operation in Coventry, supporting a premium fashion and sportswear brand. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated warehouse professional with strong leadership skills and experience in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will be responsible for leading a team on shift, ensuring daily targets are achieved and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve daily productivity and performance targets.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Allocate workloads and manage resources effectively to meet operational demands.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs, addressing any issues and implementing improvements where required.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support the training, development and performance management of team members.
• Work closely with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating where necessary.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed consistently across the team.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or in a similar supervisory role.
• Experience working within a warehouse, distribution centre or 3PL environment.
• A proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, order fulfilment and stock control.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
• Experience working towards KPIs and productivity targets.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
