Job summary

The Southern Co-operative Limited is seeking a Team Leader to drive our store forward, inspiring others, championing our values and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role involves supporting all store operations, community engagement, and stepping up in the Store Manager's absence, with a focus on developing colleagues and delivering energy and organisation.

This is a part-time role, 27 hours per week across 3 days, with shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.

• Experience in a similar position is not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of store operations including Post Office, Parcel Services, Local Suppliers, Community Programme, Too Good To Go and Home Delivery.
• Engage with and support the local community.
• Assist with day-to-day management of the store, ensuring safety and legality and stepping up in the Store Manager's absence.
• Lead by example and support your team to deliver consistently excellent customer experience.
• Contribute to store growth by developing colleagues and helping them thrive.

Flexibility is important, as shifts will include mornings, evenings and weekends.
