Job summary

Asda is seeking a Team Leader in the Chelmsley Wood store to run the day-to-day department operations and ensure top-quality customer service. You’ll lead by example, support colleagues, manage stock, assist new starters, and step in to resolve issues on the shop floor.

You’ll work with the store manager to maintain high standards and keep the team motivated, across a 36-hour weekly schedule with dayshift patterns. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and extensive in-store benefits.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading the day-to-day running of your department. You’ll lead by example—supporting your colleagues, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it’s helping to manage stock, supporting new starters, or stepping in to solve a problem, you’ll be a go-to person on the shop floor. You’ll work closely with your manager to deliver high standards and keep your team motivated and focused.
