Job summary

Active Care Group in Bedford is recruiting a Team Leader for Park House to provide operational leadership on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will oversee rosters, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of care and safety for residents.

As a Team Leader you’ll manage medication administration, support the care team, and drive continuous improvements in quality and participation in audits. This role requires effective communication with clinical colleagues and a commitment to

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Knowledge of medication administration, safety and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily shifts on a rota basis, ensuring smooth operation.
• Supervise staff, delegate tasks and address issues promptly.
• Oversee medication administration in line with care plans and risk assessments.
• Ensure QHSE compliance and participate in audits and inspections.
• Maintain accurate records and report on service quality and incidents.
• Support residents with person-centred care while safeguarding dignity and privacy.
