Edenbrook in London is seeking an experienced Reinsurance Team Lead to oversee a team of Reinsurance Technicians and drive daily operations.

You will manage contracts, premiums and settlements, monitor performance, and collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance and brokers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach a team of Reinsurance Technicians, managing workloads to meet deadlines.
• Oversee reinsurance contracts processing, premiums, settlements and related documentation.
• Monitor workflow, performance and service levels; fix bottlenecks.
• Ensure transactions align with procedures, contracts and market standards.
• Support resolution of complex technical queries and discrepancies.
• Build relationships with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Ops and external brokers.
• Provide coaching and training to develop team technical skills.
• Review processes to drive efficiency, accuracy and performance.
• Support management reporting, controls, audits and record-keeping.

Description du poste

• Lead, manage and support a team of Reinsurance Technicians, overseeing daily workloads and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Oversee the processing and administration of reinsurance contracts, including premiums, technical accounts, settlements and related documentation.
• Monitor workflow, team performance and service levels, identifying and addressing any bottlenecks or operational issues.
• Ensure reinsurance transactions are processed accurately and in line with internal procedures, contractual requirements and market standards.
• Support the resolution of complex technical queries, discrepancies and outstanding items.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Operations, as well as external brokers and market counterparties where appropriate.
• Provide coaching, guidance and training to team members, supporting their technical development and progression.
• Review existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and overall team performance.
• Support management reporting, operational controls, audit requirements and the maintenance of accurate records.
