Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a QA lead in India to specialise in debugging software and drive automated testing across applications and systems. The role involves executing test plans, evaluating languages and tools, and guiding a team of professionals including offshore resources.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of app development and quality testing processes.

• Assurance and quality testing; troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in debugging software using automated tests to achieve quality standards for applications, system products, and projects.
• Executes test plans to ensure program functionality and consults development engineers to address issues.
• Provides feedback for evaluation of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
• Develops, conducts, and evaluates application audits and testing processes.
• Manages a team of Professionals, more senior level Support staff, larger group of off-shore/contract resources or some combination of these groups.

Responsibilities:

Specializes in debugging software using automated tests to achieve quality standards for applications, system products, and projects. Executes test plans to ensure program functionality and consults development engineers to address issues. Provides feedback for evaluation of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Develops, conducts, and evaluates application audits and testing processes. Manages a team of Professionals, more senior level Support staff, larger group of off-shore/contract resources or some combination of these groups. May have supervisors reporting to them.

Responsibilities typically include:

• Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.


• Handling problems that are sometimes difficult and moderately complex.


• Ensuring compliance policies, and procedures are understood and followed.
