Job summary

Stafford Borough & Cannock Chase District Councils are seeking a Business Support and Visitor Economy Team Leader to oversee our new business support programme and strengthen the Local Visitor Economy Partnership across Cannock Chase District and Stafford Borough.

You will supervise three Officers, analyse performance data, and work with the Strategy and Regeneration Delivery Team on reports and statistics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team and delivering tailored business support programmes.
• Understanding of the local and national visitor economy and its economic links.
• Ability to analyse information and provide practical solutions.
• Strong report writing and data presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of the councils' new business support programme.
• Support the Local Visitor Economy Partnership and related initiatives.
• Complete performance management reports and government statistics.
• Supervise a team of three Business Support and Visitor Economy Officers.
