Job summary

Cannock Chase District and Stafford Borough Councils are seeking a Business Support and Visitor Economy Team Leader to lead a small team delivering business support and promoting the local visitor economy.

You will oversee a new business support programme, support the Local Visitor Economy Partnership, and collaborate on performance reporting and government statistics to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to motivate, support and develop a team.
• Experience scoping and delivering tailored business support programmes.
• Understanding of the local and national visitor economy and its link to the local economy.
• Able to analyse problems, interpret information and identify practical solutions.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of three Business Support and Visitor Economy Officers.
• Overseeing delivery of the new business support programme for two councils.
• Supporting the Local Visitor Economy Partnership activities.
• Working with the Strategy and Regeneration Delivery Team Leader on performance reports and government statistics.
