Job summary

Stafford Borough & Cannock Chase District Councils are recruiting a proactive Business Support Officer to join a Shared Service across two Councils. You will assist with risk management, performance monitoring, procurement and corporate project activity in a role that offers variety and the chance to make a real contribution.

The role supports strengthening performance and service delivery across two Councils and provides opportunity to work with senior managers to help deliver better outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience of working with data and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work on your own initiative.
