We're seeking a Team lead for our Delivery center (DC). In this role, you will be responsible for both Channel (IHS and DSP) and Station Operations and support the Delivery Center in performance management.

Title: Team Lead
Location: Chennai

Key job responsibilities
  • Handle Station Operations with the team which includes associates and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining a highly motivated and performance driven team.
  • Continuously improve the value chain and attain a sustained level of delivery performance through process and training improvements.
  • Initiate improvements to enhance quality standards, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.
  • Build and manage a multi-layer team, managing performance through coaching and mentoring, and driving team targets.
Essential Skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills.
  • Strong Bias for Action: Engage the Team in developing their understanding of Customer Experience and expectations. Ability to work under pressure and ambiguous situations.
  • High Ownership: Follow through to ensure delivery of changes/services that fulfill Customer needs.
  • Good communication and analytical skills: Effectively analyze information, identify key facts, review alternatives, and assess risks.
  • Curiosity to learn and adapt to new processes.
IHS Management
  • Account Identification & Acquisition: Market mapping and identification of potential retail stores for acquisition, induction, and onboarding of new accounts (I.H.S stores).
  • Account Management: Manage and grow channel partner/stores’ business with Amazon. Build and execute strategic account plans.
Field Visits
  • Visit targeted stores regularly and train them on Amazon processes, products, operating models, and SOPs.
DSP Management
  • Collaborate with DSP channel partners to improve operational aspects and delivery experience.
  • Drive partner associates against goals (Volume, FTR, and other metrics).
  • Handle operational and escalation issues, analyze root causes, set expectations, and manage relationships for mutual growth.
A day in the life

The role involves managing the station operations, overseeing both UTR and OTR associates during the current shift.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Over 1 year of experience in manufacturing or customer-facing environments.
