Job summary

Havelock Academy is seeking a part-time Teaching School Hub Administrator to join our team. The role is 3 days per week during term time, 8:30am to 4:30pm, based at Havelock Academy and reporting to the Teaching School Hub.

You will manage enquiries, coordinate venues and resources, publish programme information, maintain records for contractual reporting, and support safeguarding and quality standards across regional schools.

Qualifications

  • A level or equivalent qualification in Business, finance, accounting or administration.
  • 5 GCSE’s at Grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths.
  • Ability to line manage and motivate administrative staff, desirable.
  • Experience of working in the education sector and belief in teachers and school leaders.
  • Outstanding track record of development and delivery against tight timelines.
  • Good understanding of ITT, ECF, NPQ and ABS.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Teaching School Hub handling telephone, written and in person enquiries in a welcoming, proficient and professional manner.
  • Acquire venues, resources and co-ordinate the efforts of facilitators, coaches, placement schools etc.
  • Create, schedule and publish programme information, updates and promotional content across social media platforms, ensuring consistency with branding and communication guidelines.
  • Ensure that records are maintained in line with contract requirements and for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure facilitator records are maintained and relevant onboarding checklists completed.
  • Ensure all relevant Trust and programme relevant safeguarding training is attended.
  • Respond to improvement priorities locally and nationally.
  • Lead the delivery of digital systems that are well integrated to allow for a seamless participant experience.
  • Help improve the quality of our materials and resources to support participants in their learning and development, including the review of participant attendance, engagement and feedback.
  • Work closely with the faculty teams to prepare and support delivery of the national elements of our programmes.
  • Build effective and positive relationships with our DRET and regional schools.
  • Provide training and information about systems, processes and quality standards to regional and DRET schools, including facilitators.
  • A good understanding of Teaching School Hubs, including ITT, ECF, NPQ, ABS and programmes and Hub finances.
  • Outstanding track record of development and delivery against tight timelines.
  • The ability to collect, store and report on Hub data.
