Keighley College is recruiting a Teaching Facilitator in Carpentry and Joinery to join our Construction and Building Services team. The role involves planning, teaching, assessing and some administration to support students and learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a Carpentry and Joinery background, with enthusiasm to start or progress a career in teaching, and the ability to inspire and support learners in a college environment.

About the Role

Keighley College is recruiting for a Teaching Facilitator in Carpentry and Joinery to join our team. This is a new role within the Construction and Building Services department.

You will support the Carpentry and Joinery team with technician tasks, as well as plan, teach, and assess learning within the department. Part of the role will require some administrative duties.

It is a role ideally suited for a person with a Carpentry and Joinery background who wants to start or progress their career in teaching.

What You Will Do

• Relevant up-to-date subject knowledge of Carpentry and Joinery.
• Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their optimum.
• Have a willingness to gain a CertEd qualification.
