Job summary

The Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Bristol seeks two Teaching Associates in SEMT. These fixed-term posts focus on teaching and administration across undergraduate and MSc programmes.

Qualifications

• PhD (or near completion) in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
• Experience teaching in higher education.
• Ability to teach across levels and communicate technical material clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and MSc programmes.
• Supervise and assess research projects, provide tutoring, and contribute to lectures, laboratories and problem classes.
• Plan activity and contribute to course development; act as tutor to undergraduates and taught postgraduates.
