Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Primary Schools across Oldham. You will work with class teachers to help deliver engaging lessons, support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

We welcome candidates with experience in schools or childcare and a passion for helping children learn. A Level 2/3 TA qualification is helpful but not essential; roles include day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements.

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support a range of Primary Schools across Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing classroom environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to help deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support to pupils, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities

Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including children with additional needs

Helping to maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom materials

Encouraging pupils' confidence, engagement, and progress across the curriculum

We Are Looking For:

Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting

A passion for supporting children's learning and development

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A relevant qualification (such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) is beneficial but not essential
