Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support Primary Schools across Oldham. You will work with class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted pupil support.

You'll contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom and have the opportunity for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements with competitive daily pay. A passion for children’s learning is essential.

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support a range of Primary Schools across Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing classroom environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to help deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support to pupils, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including children with additional needs
• Helping to maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom materials
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, engagement, and progress across the curriculum

We Are Looking For:

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, supportive, and proactive approach in the classroom
• A relevant qualification (such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) is beneficial but not essential
