Prestley Wood Academy is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join Horizons Education Trust. In this role you will support teaching with pupils who have a wide range of complex needs, including challenging behaviours and autism within our area special school.
Experience of working with special needs children is desirable, but not essential. Full training and support is given, with ICT systems for home/school communication. Induction programme and ongoing professional development are provided.
Role: Teaching Assistant: Level 2
Salary: Point 5 to 6 £25,586 pro-rata (actual Salary £21,320) to £25,989 pro-rata (actual Salary £21,655)
Contract: 32.5 hours a week, term time only plus training days

Qualifications related to the field are desirable, but not essential. The successful candidates would need to understand and use ICT systems and write to parents/carers in home/school communication.
