Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant for a Bradford school. You will work under a supportive team to help deliver engaging lessons and assist pupils across early reading and numeracy activities.

You’ll support group and 1:1 sessions, create learning resources, and contribute to a positive, safe school environment that fosters growth and inclusion for all children.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent relevant experience).
• GCSE Grade C/4 or higher in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Support, assist, and reinforce learning in the classroom under the guidance of the teacher.
• Deliver group interventions to strengthen literacy and numeracy.
• Provide 1:1 mentoring and support for pupils with additional needs (SEND).
• Prepare resources, displays, and practical learning setups.

• Classroom Support: Partner with teachers to deliver fun, interactive, and engaging lessons.

• 1:1 Pupil Mentoring: Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities).

• Creative Learning: Help prepare creative resources, displays, and practical learning setups.

• Safe & Happy Environment: Promote positive behavior, inclusion, and emotional well‑being across the school.

Who We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent relevant experience).

• Core Skills: Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English & Maths).
