Previous experience working with children is essential. This could be in a school, nursery, childcare setting, youth group or similar. You're patient, positive and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children's progress. You communicate well with pupils, teachers and colleagues. You're reliable, proactive and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. You're happy to work in a team and take direction from class teachers.
