Job summary

A flexible Teaching Assistant role is available in St Albans and surrounding areas, offering daily and short-term placements to fit your availability. You will support pupils, assist teachers, and help maintain an inclusive learning environment across multiple schools.

Applicants should have experience with children, strong behaviour management, and the ability to build trusted relationships with staff and pupils. DBS update service or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of behaviour management and inclusive practices.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
• Resilient, patient and empathetic approach.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Qualifications or training in education, psychology or youth work is desirable.
