Blackpool Church of England Primary School is seeking two or three flexible, enthusiastic assistants to work across the curriculum with class teachers. Roles are fixed-term until 31 August 2027 and can be full-time or part-time depending on availability.

Successful candidates will deliver targeted interventions, promote social and emotional well-being, and liaise with professionals. DBS enhanced disclosure is required, and eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.

We are looking for two or three enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individuals to work alongside the class teachers across all areas of the curriculum.

We have a number of hours available for this position which could be covered by two or three people on either a full-time or part time basis. Please state clearly in your application the number of days that you are interested in working. These are fixed-term positions until 31st August 2027.

The successful candidates will be expected to:

1. To deliver targeted interventions.
2. To promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
3. To work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school
4. You will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given situations with integrity and compassion
5. There will be some aspects of working with SEND pupils 1:1 or small group work.
