Salary and Benefits

VTG7, SP19-SP21 starting salary £22,266 per annum, pro rata (actual starting salary £17,243 per annum based on hours per week), plus Health Care Cash Plan and Benefits Package.

The role involves supporting teaching and learning activities and assisting qualified teachers. It also includes working 1-1 and with small groups of children as part of the class team.

Candidate Requirements

• GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant to a Teaching Assistant role.
• Experience working effectively supporting children in learning environments.
• Understanding of child development principles, learning processes, and barriers to learning.
