SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Behaviour Support - Year 1 - Primary School in Tottenham - ASAP Start

A primary school in Tottenham (Haringey) is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with behavioural challenges due to past trauma. This SEN Teaching Assistant role requires patience, strong behaviour management skills, and the ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with behavioural needs.
  • Implement tailored behaviour strategies to help the child engage in learning.
  • Foster social and emotional development through structured interventions.
  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, behaviour mentor, or similar support role.
