Location: Wood Green, N22 4HH
Salary: £90 - £105 per day (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 8:15 am - 3:45 pm
Contract Type: Ad hoc supply needs

GSL Education are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school in Wood Green, providing Ad hoc supply needs to the school.

This role involves supporting in a SEN school with Autism and various SEN. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working collaboratively with teachers and staff to deliver a high standard of care and education.

Teaching Assitant Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with Autism and various SEN needs.
  • Help implement individualised support plans and learning objectives for students.
  • Support students in developing essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and independence.
  • Work alongside teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Record and monitor students' progress, helping adjust support strategies as necessary.

Requirements for a Teaching Assistant:

  • Prior SEN experience in a school or educational setting/ understanding.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
  • A caring and patient attitude, with a focus on the welfare of students.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
