The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and supportive team of people, who are committed to your career development.

Alderwood is a one-form entry school judged by OFSTED to be Good. We are a school community, who believe wellbeing and positive relationships for children and adults are fundamental to the success of all learners. We are part of an innovative and forward-thinking group of schools across Greenwich (comprising of Boxsgrove, Deansfield, Halstow, Horn Park, Kidbrooke Park, South Rise, Willow Dene and Wingfield) and across Essex (Cann Hall, John Ray Junior, Notley Green and Shalford); who form the Compass Partnership of Schools.

You will:

  1. Be part of a learning community committed to achieving the best for our children.
  2. Have high expectations, understand the importance of, and promote the principles of inclusion by enabling every child to overcome barriers to learning and reach high standards.
  3. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We can offer you:

  1. Wonderful, enthusiastic children who are motivated to learn.
  2. A team committed to raising standards for all children.
  3. Access to a wide range of resources and support to help you in your role.
  4. A commitment to your own Professional Development.
  5. A part in a forward thinking, dynamic Partnership which sees children at the heart of the learning process.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending the school. As the duties of this post involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained via the Disclosure Barring Service.
