Job summary

Southfields Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for Year 1/2 intake, with additional Midday Supervisor duties to create a safe and positive lunchtime experience. You will work closely with teachers and the school team to support children’s learning, confidence and independence.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, caring, a good communicator, and committed to professional development, with a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting in Year 1/2 or similar setting.
• Positive, enthusiastic and patient with children.
• Able to communicate with families and colleagues effectively.

• Support children to learn, build confidence and develop independence.
• Assist class teachers in planning and delivering activities.
• Fulfill midday supervisor duties to ensure a safe, happy lunchtime experience.

At Southfields Primary School, we are looking for a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Year1/2 initially.

As part of the role, you will also work as a Midday Supervisor each day, helping to create a safe, happy and positive lunchtime experience where children can relax, play and enjoy their time together.
