Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant in Newport for a full-time, long-term position. You will work closely with the Class Teacher to support foundation phase learning and create engaging activities in a positive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Welsh with strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills. Prior experience in education is desirable; schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

As a Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant in Newport, you will collaborate closely with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging activities tailored to the foundation phase. Your role will involve supporting children's social, emotional, and academic development, assisting with behaviour management, and helping pupils with additional learning needs and language requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:


  • Fluent Welsh speaker with excellent communication skills for the Welsh-speaking Primary School Teaching Assistant role in Newport.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
