Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support learners with autism on a 1:1 basis in a Wandsworth setting. Working hours are 08:45 – 16:45, with a start date ASAP. A DBS on update service and references are required, along with other safeguarding checks.

This is a temporary position with the potential for continuation depending on need and performance. Location options include Clapham, Earlsfield, and Barnes, involving school-based duties and compliance with the DfE

Qualifications

• Must have enhanced DBS on the update service and references.
• ASAP start available; temporary position.
• Experience providing 1:1 support to students with autism is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to learners with autism in a classroom setting.
• Assist teaching staff and help manage pupil behaviour.
• Attend interview and follow safeguarding procedures.
