Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Tameside and surrounding areas, including Denton, Hyde, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge, Dukinfield and Glossop.

Roles include classroom support, one-to-one and small group work across mainstream, SEN and specialist settings. Various start dates, with full-time and part-time opportunities and competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, either within education or another relevant setting.
• Passionate about supporting pupils with their learning, confidence and development.
• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.
• Patient, approachable and adaptable in their approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Tameside and surrounding areas, including Denton, Hyde, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge, Dukinfield and Glossop.

We have a variety of exciting opportunities available for September and October starts, including short-term, long-term and permanent positions.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across the classroom, working on a one-to-one basis or providing targeted support to small groups. Depending on your experience, there are opportunities to work across mainstream, SEN and specialist settings.

We are looking for candidates who:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
