Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Tameside and surrounding areas, including Denton, Hyde, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge, Dukinfield and Glossop.

Opportunities include September and October starts, with both full-time and part-time positions, short-term, long-term and permanent roles across mainstream, SEN and specialist settings. Competitive daily rates and dedicated consultant support available.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people
• Passionate about pupil development and learning
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Patient, approachable and adaptable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in SEN or additional needs

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom across tasks
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support
• Assist across mainstream, SEN and specialist settings
• Work with dedicated consultant support
• Help pupils access learning and develop confidence
