Job summary

Greenacres Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups. You will help deliver engaging activities, foster independence and positive attitudes to learning while forming supportive relationships with pupils.

The role is permanent, 35 hours weekly, term-time only (39 weeks per year), with an actual salary in Grade 3 of £26,506.04 to £27,250.18. Start date ASAP and alignment with safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills required.
• Enthusiastic, caring and committed to helping children.
• Experience with children is an advantage; attitude and commitment matter.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
• Help deliver engaging learning activities and targeted interventions.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive attitudes to learning.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and promote wellbeing and inclusion.
• Work with teachers to support pupil progress and a welcoming environment.
