Job summary

Greenacre School, one of the UK's largest special schools, is seeking a casual Grade 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN/SEND across the school day. You will work under a teacher to help with reading, literacy, and personal development, delivering 1-1 and small group support and preparing the classroom.

Hourly rate of £13.27 per hour plus benefits; full training is provided. This flexible position requires availability for a minimum commitment and involves safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English achieved to a good standard.
• Experience or interest in working with children/young people with SEN/SEND needs.
• Ability to relate to children and younger people to build positive relationships.
• Patience, understanding, a willingness to learn and the drive to help our pupils thrive.
