About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our supply team for roles in SEN schools in the Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme areas. Opportunities are available for temporary, long-term, or day-to-day work, tailored to your availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development
  2. Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  3. Providing one-on-one or small group support as required
  4. Implementing individual education plans and adapting teaching strategies to meet each student's needs
  5. Promoting social and emotional development and fostering independence in students
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential
  2. A passionate and patient nature, with a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different settings and with various age groups
