Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
• Ability to work closely with teachers and support staff.
• Patient, adaptable and caring approach to learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Support children with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and learning skills.
• Support academic, social, emotional and personal development.
• Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Encourage pupils to participate fully in classroom activities.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual needs.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children.
