Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work across Hull and the surrounding areas, offering flexible days and a variety of schools. Competitive daily rates from £95 to £125, with ongoing support from the East Riding team to develop professionally and make a positive impact in local schools.

Assignments range from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, with a focus on safety, inclusion and helping young learners thrive in primary education.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable).
• A positive, caring, and adaptable attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting primary education.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

About the Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you\'ll play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils across a range of year groups. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning support.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
