Job summary

Greenfield Primary is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our school team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. You will work under the SENCO and teachers to support pupils, including those with special educational needs, to access learning and develop confidence.

You will support individuals and small groups, promote positive behaviour, assist with activities and help create an engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should hold, or be willing to work towards, an NVQ Level 2 qualification.
• Experience supporting pupils, including those with special educational needs, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals and small groups to access learning.
