Job Description:

Teaching Assistant - Required to support our client in Maidenhead, supporting children in a SEN school.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK.

About the role:

As a teaching assistant, you will be working in our SEN School, supporting boys and girls aged 4 - 16.

With support and training, you will provide excellent teaching assistance to children and young people with autism and associated learning difficulties. To support the class teacher, you will ensure the daily needs of our pupils are met in a professional, competent, safe, and engaging school environment.

About you:

A successful candidate will have empathy, compassion, and resilience working with young people with mental health issues, autism, and complex needs.

Pay starts from £80.08 per day PAYE and £104.17 per day Umbrella.

Requirements for you as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience in Support Work or as a Teaching Assistant
  • Confident in working independently and proactively
  • Self-motivated with clear communication skills
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS

Shift Times:

  • Potential block bookings / temporary to permanent opportunities
