Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the SEN department of a mainstream secondary school in the Lancaster area. This role focuses on supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, aid academic, social and emotional development, work with teachers to implement individual strategies, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• Patient, caring, resilient and adaptable.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs.
